The Mechanical Designer will be based in Vigevano, working full-time on-site.<\/p>\n
The role will involve the daily design of mechanical components and assemblies using 2D\/3D CAD software, the preparation of technical drawings and bills of materials, and the updating of project documentation.<\/p>\n
The successful candidate will collaborate with the technical office and production department to support product industrialization, assess mechanical feasibility, and implement any necessary design improvements.<\/p>\n
The role will also involve supporting in-house maintenance activities by providing drawings, specifications, and technical solutions for interventions on machinery and equipment.<\/p>\n
Attention to quality, compliance with safety regulations, and adherence to project deadlines will also be essential.<\/p>\n
Fluency in both English and Italian is essential to facilitate communication with customers and international teams.<\/p>\n
The candidate must have solid knowledge of maintenance and repair activities involving industrial machinery and equipment.<\/p>\n
Experience in preventive maintenance is required, including the ability to contribute to the development of scheduled maintenance plans.<\/p>\n
Knowledge of heavy equipment is considered an asset, particularly in the design and revision of components for production machinery.<\/p>\n
The candidate must be able to perform troubleshooting, analyze technical issues, and propose effective design solutions.<\/p>\n
The following qualifications will be considered an advantage: a technical diploma or degree in mechanical engineering or a related field, excellent knowledge of 2D\/3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Inventor, AutoCAD), ability to read and interpret technical drawings, teamwork skills, accuracy, and a continuous improvement mindset.<\/p>\n
